I love training body weight exercises – they really push me, and make me work hard for each rep. This workout is no different!
I wanted to share three of my favourite exercises using a pull up bar. There are plenty more brilliant exercises, so let me know your favourite.
This workout is great for your upper body and core. Our workout is written below so you can try it out at home or in the gym.

Pull Up Bar Workout
Complete 10 reps of each exercise and then rest for 30 seconds. Repeat another 2 times, making 3 sets in total.
If 10 reps is too tough, split them down into smaller chunks.
- Pull Ups (Option 1 or 2*) x 10 reps
- Knee Tucks x 10 reps
- Shoulder Shrugs x 10 reps
*Pull Up options:
- Option 1 – use a resistance band to assist your pull up
- Option 2 – pull up through full range of motion
